Quick Facts
- Every New England Basketball Hall of Fame Ceremony has attracted over 1,000 people, with over 1,600 attending the sold-out 2009 induction ceremony. (Due to seating limitations, hundreds of others were turned away)
- The next ceremony will take place in 2012.
- Billy Packer of CBS Sports has served as MC for the 3 ceremonies prior to 2009. The 2009 MC was Tom Brennan, a radio and television sportscaster and former men's basketball head coach, most notably at the University of Vermont from 1986 to 2005.
- Three-Year Cycle: Rather than holding small induction ceremonies every year, the New England Basketball Hall of Fame executive committee determined to hold larger ceremonies every few years. Henceforth, the ceremony will be held every three years.

- Nominations for 2012. The Executive Committee of the New England Basketball Hall of Fame will begin to review nominations for the 2012 ceremony in February, 2011. The selection process goes over a period of 15-18 months before the honorees are named. An Extraordinary Speech at the 2004 Ceremony!
2004 Highlights. The 2004 New England Basketball Hall of Fame dinner and ceremony was one of the largest sports dinners/ceremonies of its kind in the United States. There were many highlights, including an extraordinary speech by inductee Becky Dowling Adams. Becky was a star basketball player at Phillips-Andover, and later a star at the United States Naval Academy, where she captained the Navy team.
