He knows his subject, he covers it thoroughly and his language is wonderful!" Fred Neuberger, Dean of Admissions Emeritus.
  • Ohio Wesleyan University "Over the last few months I have been digging deep within myself to become a better leader/coach and produce better players/leaders. I am so relieved to find after listening to you that I am on the right track. That evening, I found myself thinking about my playing days at the University of Kentucky, and even my early junior tennis career. I went home and told my husband that I am going to purchase each and every book/article you have ever written." Coach Sheri Courter.
  • Saint Joseph’s College “WOW! What a great presentation! I can't tell you how impressed I was with the program, and how powerful the message was. The kids were buzzing for the rest of the day. Your passion and commitment came across so clearly and powerfully that the kids were spellbound. (I know I was).” Don Lizak, Athletic Director.
  • SUNY Maritime College "Dan Doyle is not only an extraordinarily effective speaker, but also a facilitator who immediately creates an environment of insightfulness, discussion and critical thinking. Personally, I have been fortunate to be around some of the truly outstanding coaches and motivators of college sport, and I can honestly say that Dan is unquestionably one of the best!" Dr. William E. Martinov, Jr., Director of Athletics.
  • The College of William & Mary "You are a true Renaissance man, and your brilliant after-dinner speech at our annual William & Mary basketball awards banquet wonderfully reflected your many innovative ideas and creative vision. Our student-athletes, and all others in attendance, loved the speech." Rick Boyages, Head Men's Basketball Coach.
  • University of Central Florida. “Dan Doyle’s presentation to our membership at the National Consortium for Academics and Sports Annual Conference was a memorable one. • Wittenberg University "Thank you for your ideas, your passion, your intent and your care when you visited Wittenberg last week. Your talk positively impacted so many scholar-athletes from talking to the students this past week and weekend. 'Competitive self-restraint,' being a 'social entrepreneur,' and 'a healthy pursuit of excellence versus a debilitating obsession to win' are some major ideas, along with many others, that I took away from your short visit and lecture. It's exciting for me to know that although it was such a short period of time, that I will hold on to these ideals for my entire life. Thank you for that impact." Student Meghan Gaydos. "I believe there are times in my life when I meet someone by chance and instantly realize that that person could have a great impact on my life. I believe that happened when I met you, and listened to your wonderful lecture." Coach Marianne Beshara.
  • 10-College NCAC Lecture Tour "Dan's easy and engaging style got all of our student-athletes, coaches, and administrators inspired about sportsmanship and talking about it--long after he left. If there is a legacy from his ten visits to our 10 college campuses, it is that the people who heard him have embraced his ideas about sportsmanship and will carry it from this day forward into the rest of their lives. That is exactly what we had hoped to accomplish with this program and I believe we were very successful in doing just that." Dennis Collins, Executive Director, North Coast Athletic Conference.

Other

  • 4th Annual Boston Celtics "Heroes Among Us" Ceremony, Massachusetts State House "We received wonderful feedback from our heroes and their families about your speech. Meghan O'Brien Wright, Director of Public Affairs and Wayne Levy, Director of Community Relations.
  • Center for Continuing Medical Education/Hartford Hospital "Your talk was superb and very well received. As a pediatrician with special interest in children's development and behavior, I found your talk to be an eloquent dissertation on the factors that enable sports to promote children's optimal development." Dr. Paul Dworkin, Chief of Medicine.
  • 2001 World Scholar-Athlete Games "Your keynote address at the Closing Ceremonies of the 2001 World Scholar-Athlete Games was the finest speech I have ever heard. Many in our delegation made the same comment." Coach Ilan Kowalsky, basketball coach from Israel.
  • Kingswood-Oxford School Parents Association "Tonight was wonderful. Your deep knowledge and passion and sense of balance bring a fresh and honest perspective to a topic that often resorts to clichés and pure emotion. Your book will fill a huge need and help define the ways in which we think and act. Researchers often speak about changing paradigms. I believe that your work and the order you have brought to the chaos of athletics and parenting will set the parameters for conversations for years to come." Dr. Lee Levison, Head of School at Kingswood-Oxford (CT).
