Dates: July 17-22, 2003

The 2003 Rhode Island Scholar-Athlete Games Renaissance Experience welcomed scholar-athletes and scholar-artists grades 3-8 from throughout Rhode Island. The Renaissance Experience involved the Institute’s acclaimed Sparta versus Athens competition concept, whereby the entire group is separated into two teams- Sparta and Athens. Over the course of the event, all activities, ranging from sports activities to debates, count for points! The program also involved special leadership training and speeches by the likes of Rhode Island Attorney General, Patrick Lynch.
