The International Scholar-Athlete Hall of Fame & Museum, located in the Feinstein Building and administered by the Institute for International Sport, is a comprehensive educational resource center that inducts individuals every two years. Hall of Fame inductees are chosen based on their distinguished athletic, academic, and humanitarian achievements. More than 2,000 academicians, journalists, representatives of national Olympic organizations and former athletes contribute to the selection process.



Mission Statement
  • To honor those individuals who exemplify the Scholar-Athlete ideal
  • To foster and spread the Scholar-Athlete ideal globally
  • To serve as a worldwide educational resource center
