- When: The 2008 US Scholar-Athlete Games will take place June 28 - July 5.
- Who: All students between the ages of 15-19 are welcome to apply.

The concept of the Scholar-Athlete Games is based upon the best of the Olympic ideal. The Olympics grew out of the belief that sport can be a force for understanding and friendship among athletes and among nations. The Scholar-Athlete Games add a new dimension to that concept by strategically placing scholar-athletes on teams with students from other states and countries, thus requiring them to develop teamwork with a very diverse group of people.
