Peace Lectures
In fall 2010 and into 2011, the World Youth Peace Summit will hold a series of Peace Lectures in Connecticut, as well as in other locales throughout the world. The Peace Lectures will be delivered by internationally renowned experts on a variety of peace related topics. If you would like to host a Peace Lecture in your community, please view here.

2010 June Reception at the Library of Congress
On June 23, 2010, the Connecticut Congressional Delegation and World Youth Peace Summit will host a major reception at The Library of Congress for members of Congress and foreign diplomats/ambassadors and other embassy officials to introduce them to opportunities for their involvement in and support of the Summit. Connecticut Ambassadors for Peace Dinner
This gala will take place on October 22, 2010 at Mohegan Sun.  The event will honor 25 distinguished Connecticut residents, in commemoration of the Institute for International Sport’s (IIS) 25th anniversary.  The actual 25th anniversary celebration for the Institute will be celebrated on October 1, 2011 in conjunction with the opening of the World Youth Peace Summit.

February 2011 Leadership Forum
The forum will involve the participation of 1,000 Connecticut youth in a day long leadership conference, during which the students will begin to prepare Pathways to Peace initiatives for the 2011 World Youth Peace Summit.  Highlights of these initiatives will be posted on the WYPS web site for review by other World Youth Peace Summit participants around the world.

2011 Peace Concert at Mohegan Sun
The World Youth Peace Summit expects to announce shortly the details of this major Peace Concert, which will be held in spring, 2011.

Peace Walks
The 2011 World Youth Peace Summit Peace Walks will take place May 21 and 22, 2011. The Peace Walks will be held across every Congressional District in the United States, as well as in many, many other countries. If you would like to host a Peace Walk in your community, please view here.
