LEADERSHIP SESSIONS
WITH DAN DOYLE

The 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games will feature four leadership sessions with Scholar-Athlete Games Founder, Dan Doyle. Dan’s leadership sessions were one of the most popular activities at our last “Games,” the 2008 United States Scholar-Athlete Games.

The four sessions to be conducted at the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games will take place during the late afternoon “divertissement” period. The sessions will involve a series of well-planned leadership exercises which Dan has utilized in lecturing at over one hundred twenty-five colleges and universities in the United States. Many of the exercises will be taken directly from Dan’s The Encyclopedia of Sports Parenting, and specifically from the chapter entitled “Will Sports Help Develop Leadership Skills?” The exercises, along with Dan’s comments, are aimed at helping our scholar-athletes and scholar-artists develop a coherent philosophy of leadership.

In March, 2011, detailed information on the four leadership sessions will be posted on this website.

“For me, Mr. Doyle’s leadership sessions were the highlight of the United States Scholar-Athlete Games.  I came away from the sessions with so many leadership concepts that I can apply in the future.  An awesome experience!”
