The NSHSS Partnership

The Institute for International Sport is proud to continue its partnership with the National Society of High School Scholars. The NSHSS is an organization founded and chaired by Claes Nobel, a senior member of the Nobel family, and a passionate proponent of humanitarian and environmental causes. The Institute for International Sport shares in the mission and commitment NSHSS has made to recognize academic excellence and to encourage members to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. As part of our partnership with NSHSS, and due to the academic and extra curricular activity achievements of all NSHSS members, the Institute for International Sport will offer automatic acceptance for NSHSS members to the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games/World Youth Peace Summit.

NSHSS To Be Honored

On June 23, 2010, the NSHSS will be presented with the “Power of Good” award at a diplomatic reception at the Library of Congress. All NSHSS members are welcome to attend as the guests of the Institute for International Sport.  The reception will take place from 5:00 – 7:00PM.  If you plan to attend as an NSHSS member, kindly email us at wsag@internationalsport.com, and indicate your membership.  We will then provide you with further details, as they become available.  The reception is being hosted by the Connecticut Congressional Delegation and attendees will include approximately 150 foreign ambassadors, many members of Congress, and other VIPs.  It should be a truly historic night at which the World Youth Peace Summit is announced to the International Diplomatic community and Members of Congress.
